First session + three islandsHaki: unreleased in one guide

First session

What to do in your first hour

1

Redeem codes and take the free rerolls

Customize Character under Play. Start with FruitBasket and NewYouNewCrew, then the rest on the codes page. Like, favorite, and join the group for extra trait and race rerolls.

2

Lock race and traits

Reroll with the bottom circle buttons. Keep Human Celestial, Dwarf, or Sky Folk if they land. Aim for epic-or-better traits. Store a trait you like in the free slot.

3

Finish the Officer Graves tutorial

Talk to Officer Graves, hit the training dummy, dash with Q, and block with F. Equip the Strong Punch scroll from inventory. Open Logbook → Tutorial if you get stuck.

4

Do Wizard’s Apprentice

Almighty Calvin sits near the Anchor Town blacksmith. Buy a shovel, dig the four shell waypoints, and open Calvin’s Treasure for your first fruit.

5

Put the first stat points in

Guides name Health, Strength, Willpower, Agility, Precision, and Energy. One starter dump went into Health, Agility, and Willpower. Willpower is the stat they say matters for Haki later.

Combat

Controls, stats, and combat notes

Binds and stat lines spoken in the full-guide videos.

  • Dash: Q. Block: F.
  • Strength raises fist and sword M1s and most melee skills.
  • Willpower is described as stronger Haki and protection from negative status. One later video also said Haki is still unreleased — treat that as unfinished Early Access.
  • Agility: move speed, extra dashes, and agility-scaling skills.
  • Precision: guns, cannons, and precision-scaling skills.
  • Energy: stamina and energy-scaling skills. Health: max HP.
  • Some NPCs drop skill scrolls. Some weapons, such as a flintlock, grant a skill when equipped.
  • Axe spin only works on axe weapons. Claw skills such as Big Bucket and Razor Flip were shown on cat claws.
  • Four fighting styles exist. Swordsman is the named style on the starter island. Exact trainer spots for the other three are still blank.

Progression

How guides level from 1 to 70+

Follow the main quest and the repeatable the videos actually farmed.

  • Party play: +3% XP per member, up to 15%, 10 players. Create or join a party.
  • Levels 1–30 or 1–40, Anchor Town / beginner town: pay 25 gold to open the gate, or have a high-level friend open it. Take Captive Swordsman and farm Axe-Hand Morgan. Keep doing main quests at the same time.
  • Levels 30–70, Clown Town: sail from beginner town. Do the mayor / old-man main quest. Farm Johnny’s repeatable clown-officer quest and the mayor’s repeatable Buggy Clown quest. Clown’s Hub has beginner, intermediate, and champion arm wrestlers.
  • Level 70+, Maple Village: sail right from the Clown Town port. Follow the main quest. Two repeatable quest givers sit up the hill. Side quests can wait if you only want levels.
  • World bosses every hour (or XX00 global) pay fruit chances and Celestial Coins.
  • Life skills — mining, fishing, farming, cooking — are treated as real progression. Ores upgrade weapons. Food gives buffs. Fishing can pay gold and Celestial Coins. Rebirth at life-skill level 100 is mentioned.
  • Crew create cost spoken: level 25 and 5,000 gold.
  • Shop swords: cutlass in beginner town; katana or Willow Blade in Clown Town beside the mayor. The current best sword named is Last Love, sold by a Smuggler in beginner town or Clown Town.
  • A larger ship is bought from Mary in Maple Village. Hold E to drop the anchor. Cannons are mountable.

Do not

What to avoid

  • Do not use exploits. The official listing says you will be banned.
  • Do not sit on trees as your only fruit farm. The fruit-method video calls that the weak route.
  • Do not skip codes before you roll race and traits.

Redeem codes, lock a rare race and a usable trait, finish Officer Graves, then do Calvin’s fruit quest.

What are the controls?

Dash is Q. Block is F. The rest of the bind list lives in Logbook → Tutorial.

Need the databases next?

Fruits and races hold the lists. Codes is where new strings go.
